ECNL hasn't outlined the specific details yet but they have said they want to do SY. They could choose whatever date they want but US Club sanctions (maintains player paperwork) for ECNL and many other leagues. If USYS and US Club have said 8/1 then ECNL will 99.9% chance be 8/1.

One thing that will be interesting to watch for is if ECNL puts a rule in that Aug birthday players arent allowed to play a grade down in school. Which would be the same thing as 9/1+30 just addressed in a less rigid way.[/quote]
