they are not. they dont care because they know Trump will bail them out with tens of billions of dollars. Trump is not making cuts, he is destroying the civil bureaucracy so he can govern like an autocrat and nobody can stop him and cutting some programs the GOP is against (food stamps and so on) for a constituency he does not care about. but farmers are powerful because they are the backbone of the GOP voting block in the midwest and crucial for Trump/GOP to win next time. he will bail them out and they will keep voting for people like Trump. my spouse's extended family is from Iowa, ask me how I know :( [/quote]
