Yep. They’re tripping if they think I’m bringing my laptop home ahead of snow days. sorry no. Neither my work IPhone nor my laptop is coming home, ever, if telework ends. If they want to decide we need to “telework” on a snow day I guess I’ll have some articles at home to read. [/quote]

This…is what the government does. And if you have young kids, you are also “allowed” to work from home without childcare, except that if you are performing childcare you must use PTO. And no, there is no guidance on what this means.

I have a 18 month old, we live in a small apartment and both of us work outside the home normally. The two snow days were perhaps the worst two days of parenting so far lol. (Well, it wasn’t helped that for the first half of the day I thought I had access to admin leave). The fact we expected this of parents during the lockdowns is insane! [/quote]
