For individuals in positions of authority, particularly those working with children, such charges raise serious concerns about the vetting and oversight processes of organizations. It is vital to address these situations with transparency to uphold trust and ensure the safety of participants.
I am in no way a fan of BSC’s leadership and would be thrilled if it turned over completely, but you are really reaching with this one. It makes much more sense to focus on the current ineptitude and arrogance of those running the club and treating it like it’s their own kingdom.
This entire thread is a stretch, so why stop there? Let’s call out youth soccer coaches and publicly expose them. Like let’s get a grip people. This entire thread is hilarious.
Much of what has been posted in the thread is neither a stretch nor remotely funny. There are many very good reasons to think that most of the BSC leadership should be ousted and the club governance process should be made more transparent and accessible to the families who pay a lot to be part of this not-for-profit that should be serving the community instead of enriching a bunch of good ‘ol boys. However, in my opinion a decade+ old weapons charge that was settled for a fine of $100 and unsupervised probation is not, alone, something I’d be particularly concerned with.
