Israel's current actions are changing hearts and minds but in the wrong direction: more and more people in the middle east hate Israel and the US.

Hamas will allow neither. So you can criticize Bibi and rightly so, but don’t delude yourself into thinking Hamas wants a ceasefire or a 2 state solution.[/quote]

Why do you even post? It is obvious by your answer you don’t even know the what is happening.

Let set the record straight. 
1) Hamas has agreed to the ceasefire back in March with return of the hostages. 
2) Israel and the US are the only two in the room “negotiating”- ie Israel says no to everything and the US naively kiss Netanyahu feet. Hamas is not in the room because you all killed the negotiators. Any time Israel wants to agree to a ceasefire and hostage release it is available. Israel is giving the US the finger.
3) Israel will never allow a two state solution. This is the stated position of the Israeli government and over 80% of the Israeli Jewish population. Israel is moving to annex the West Bank and does not recognize the West Bank on maps. 
4) Israel hates the Palestinians and wishes to kill them all. 
5) Israel sees how weak, feeble and naive Biden is. They will continue to exploit his weakness and expand the war. Their hope is to set the Middle East on fire and force the US to attack and invade Iran. 
6) Israel will not seek the release of the Hostages. They are much more valuable as martyrs and propaganda[/quote]
