It hasn't done squat to put a dent into infection rates and waves.
It would if people were decent and stayed home when sick.
In a perfect world, everyone would have paid sick leave. But it's not, and they don't. So that's why even "decent" people don't always stay home when sick. Or might send their kids to school when sick.
DP +1 Honestly, many many many people go to work without feeling well/have a cold. If we tested everyone all the time, I bet you most of us would need to stay home - much more frequently than currently. In the world we live in, life gets in the way of doing a lot of things we should do unfortunately. Even the COVID variants at this point that we know about isn't going to kill you. Therefore, I'm not going to blame a lot of people for not holding back people who may be sick. Ultimately we are ALL going to get COVID - some form now or in the future. We all get colds. Those people that keep suggesting masking is great cause they never will get sick again will get really sick bigtime one day even if they don't catch a cold. You have to live your life and life is risky. On so many levels! If people can put each other in the shoes of other people who's lifestyles are totally foreign from theirs, they will understand that people are really different yet the same - we all need to make a living and all of us benefit from convenience. If something doesn't kill you, you usually ignore it cause there's no other way..
You don’t seem to get a cold is no big deal to you but to someone you may infect it could be a big deal and last weeks. Be grateful for your health as you may not always have it.
Between colds and Covid I’ve been sick over a month. I have not been able to do much. Your arrogance is why our country and culture is a hot mess.
Uh, you don’t sound careful if you’ve had colds and Covid in the last month. But sure, it’s always someone else’s fault.
I have not been out of the house in two months. My kid got it at an activity and then we've passed it back and forth and then got it at sports outdoors. We are not doing anything beyond the outdoor sport and not seeing anyone, not shopping, not traveling, nothing...
It’s possible you are really susceptible to viruses from lack of exposure at this point. We’ve had in person work and school/daycare for a while now and finally did get Covid (not from any of those things though but visiting family). A stomach bug or cold here or there but if you are getting sick that often from doing….nothing, you may want to talk to a doctor.
I'd love to talk to my doctor and I keep begging for help and the staff keep blowing me off,. Managed care at its finest.
Shop with your feet and find a new practice. You sound really helpless.
This is why I do One Medical …
Medical Prime!
