I went into this debate undecided and at this point I'm leaning towards trump. I think he has a point about Clinton has had X number of years to accomplish these things and she hasn't.
when could she have accomplished these things? she was a US Senator, so one of 100 and advocated for many of these things, but of course she wasn't running the show, and as Secy of State, her portfolio didn't include job creation, etc... which things should she have accomplished and when? and what makes you think he has any clue?
This is what scares me about this election - someone as ignorant as Donald Trump repeats the line that "she hasn't accomplished anything" and only a few people are actually smart enough to know 1) how many years she was an elected official (Senator) and 2) how many years she was Secretary of State and 3) that neither one of those jobs means you are creating and enacting economic policies. Meanwhile, Captain Underpants can says stuff like "she's been fighting Isis her whole adult life" and not get called on it. Good laugh over that one, and many others, but it's still super depressing that 50% of our country can't see that he doesn't have a clue, not to mention the fact that he's a racist and a pig and generally of DEPLORABLE character. This is not to say that she's perfect, but she's still the better choice hands down. I may be a reluctant Hillary supporter but I am not a fool.
Here's how it works. We run the country hard - let businesses do their thing for a few cycles. And then people complain about about trickle down economics - rich get richer, poor get poore. So we flip it and grow social programs to help the poor and we try to give the middle class a tax break . . . until . . . Lather, rinse, repeat. In this case, we cheaped out as a country and purchased some shitty shampoo that won't ever clean the filth from our hair. our fault
