Recall Sansa withheld from Jon the fact that she had even met Littlefinger, so Jon had no idea that there was even an army available and on its way. Otherwise I believe he would've waited. Littlefinger knew that the so-called Starks did not have enough men and waited in the wings so he could swoop in and help save the day. He's also been grooming Sansa for seasons now. He has her right where he wants her -- thinking she can take things into her own hands, become wardess of the north with him as her betrothed. He probably thought he had nothing to lose by marrying her off to Ramsey -- had she died, he could've outwit Ramsey or at least wait for his inevitable fall, or he could be the hero and help save her. Jon Snow has little fight in him except in cases of the heart e.g., his family. I think Sansa made a completely selfish move not even telling Jon about the army of the Vale before they headed to the veil or the night when she told him Ramsey would do something unexpected. She's now in it to win it at this game of thrones. Now she's going to pull on Jon's heartstrings and make him bend the knee to her. Her snobbery as a legitimate child of Ned Stark has reawakened. BTW it was satisfying to see that Jon left a little something of Ramsey for Sansa. As much as I wanted to see him die, I couldn't help losing respect for Sansa. There was no nobleness in the way she made her move. She's become Cersei. Still wonder whether she'll give birth to the spawn of Ramsey.
Cersei is Cersei for a reason. She was sold by her husband to Robert Baratheon and endured years and years of marital rape.
What husband did Cersei have that sold her to Robert?
+1
