Dude the US can only keep combat operations going for two weeks. The Iranians are not going anywhere. After that we run out of munitions and equipment starts to wear down, parts break, etc. There is a huge backlog of parts and munitions(like 5 years) because of China’s restrictions on rare earth, industrial magnets, diamonds, etc. We used up a 1/3 of our stock defending Israel in June of 2025.

Iran is a really country with 8 million people employed by the state. Now add in over 10,000 cleric with a history going back a 1,000 years. They have faced war before.[/quote]

They lost to Iraq despite a Shia majority Iraq so no, they’re not great at war necessarily but they are geographically blessed and blessed with natural resources. The entire Persian gulf is being pummeled right now. They hit bases and airports in Dubai but wait till they hit the oil fields. The US /trump cares more about the oil fields (gas prices) than if US bases are hit.[/quote]
