Private schools, at least in the DC area, are doing very little to help their players get recruited. Most or all of the recruiting is done by the clubs. I believe you could take any top private school player, put them on public school team, and the outcome would be the same. Now you do see more top players from private schools in this area because lacrosse is a very popular sport with well-to-do families. But, correlation does not imply causation in this case.[/quote]
