I don't think the NBA or NHL would be eager to move a team into a shrinking rust belt city [/quote] Maryland is the richest state in the country in close quarters. NHL would be huge with that iconic location. NHL is an attendance centered business and with no NBA competition north of the Potomac. If you called it Chesapeake instead of Baltimore you could even pull interest from Delaware. [/quote]
