[/quote] I agree to an extent but think it’s a little more than that. I have a number of family members and friends who are teachers and find that, in general, teachers are a microcosm of the community at large. In places like the DMV, there was a lot of Covid anxiety in general and school was seen as unsafe, and then the teachers felt unsafe when they did return. Most still masked even when it was no longer required. Teachers I know in areas where Covid was not regarded with the same level of anxiety seemed less concerned about returning to school and precautions in general. It was more like it-is-what-it-is. So yeah, less burnout from remote teaching and the fallout from returning to the classroom, but probably less viewing of teaching as a dangerous profession to begin with.[/quote]
