I feel like the kitchen in this one was designed by someone who has never even boiled a pot of water. https://www.redfin.com/DC/Washington/210-9th-St-NE-20002/home/9903044
Or done dishes! The kitchen sink looks like it belongs to the bathroom. Why did they put the dining room on the second floor and the bedroom with the kitchen on the lower floor? So many questions!
How do you suppose that dishwasher is hooked up? Every dishwasher I've ever seen drained through the sink, but that's obviously not an option here. I can forgive the weird layout some; it's a small house without space for a living room, dining room, and kitchen all on the same floor. But having the kitchen and dining room on different floors seems inefficient, and having the entry go right into the dining room isn't great either (but then, if you had that be the living room, where would you put the dining room? Up two flights of stairs?). What's on the floor over the kitchen? One of the BRs? I could really do with a floor plan or virtual tour. There's a lot about this little house I like. The location is great—although I'm not sure I'd go quite so far as to call it "idyllic." But that layout...oy.
