ECNL could have consolidated talent in a controlled fashion. Instead they took their foot off the snake. Now they’ll have to hope consolidation happens by player choice which becomes a harder sell with every DA signing on to DPL or GAL.

And if they fly under USYS’s flag think of the openness of State Cup, the infrastructure of the still not dead ODP and the huge number of USYS clubs.

This is now far from over and is about to get very ugly.

Huh?  Girls soccer is always about player choice.  Where have you been?  Girls soccer is pay to play from ecnl or gda on down.

Only place where that is not true is at the funded MLS academies and they are only for boys.  Sorry.[/quote]
