Why on earth should DACA pass in a CR? It's a huge, consequential piece of legislation that needs to be carefully considered. A rushed DACA "fix" is a guarantee that hundreds of thousands of mostly adults brought here as children will need to be amnestied again in 15-20 years.[/quote]

They've been working on it.  It's not "rushed".

The reason it's in. car is because Congress has broken several promises to vote on it.  This is the only leverage there is, of Congress breaks promises.[/quote]

Dems voted against a CR for this solely because of DACA, not because they were opposed to funding the gov't. It's just as absurd and objectionable as R's tying the CR to defunding Obamacare previously.[/quote]
