Remind me again why this is whining. The homes in DH closest to Swanson are .3-.4mi door to door.  The homes in DH furthest from Kenmore are over 2mi away.  Why do you consider it whining to want our kids to walk a handful of minutes to the neighborhood school rather than being bused further away? The same scenarios would do the same thing to kids who now can walk to Jefferson or Kenmore.  Truly.  Why is this whining or racist rather than common sense?
