The issue is clubs are dumb and arrogant. The people at leagues are even more dumb and arrogant. Parents need to call them out or they'll make poor decisions.

The age guy is exploiting the situation because he wants to play down and if more parents are doing it with him he wont look as weird. He doesnt care that Aug birthdays playing down a grade will makes them misaligned with level played in club and grade in school which will screw players over when college coaches are looking to recruit them.[/quote]The issue is you can not accept the loss.[/quote]
