Russia invaded Ukraine in 2014, and today they occupy 20% of Ukraine; if they proceed with the same speed, in 10 years they will have 40% of Ukraine, and in 20 years they will have 60% of Ukraine (which will probably include Kyiv by that time). Putin's plan is very realistic, unlike Zelensky's. [/quote]

I'm not the poster you're talking to, but it has to do with the "rate of progress".  But even if you don't believe that math, let's try to explain it in another way.
