^^ this. I’m not gatekeeping single parenting, but come on! Is she unmarried? Yes? Is she a parent? Yes, although she seems to resent it. But referring to herself as a “single parent” just sounds gross and tone deaf to single parents struggling with toddlers, a job that they can’t miss when kids get sick, no support system… She has a personal assistant. She pays to have her house decorated. Her children are relatively self-sufficient, as evidenced by the fact that she leaves them 200 days per year. And yet, life is hard. It’s so heavy to do all of this alone. She had to call the plumber. She had to drive her daughter’s car to the shop to get fixed. 
Be thankful you can afford to pay the plumber! Be thankful that you can afford to buy your daughter a car! Be  thankful you can afford to get that car fixed! 
I personally can afford to do all of these things. I 💯 percent acknowledge my privilege. But I also don’t try to take on a victim’s persona in a pathetic attempt to make others think that I can actually relate to their very real struggles. [/quote]
