OP's premise was that BASIS "fills a gap that shouldn't exist" meaning the lack of academically challenging MS and HS (but especially MS) options in DC, especially outside upper NW. That's true. The problem that many of us are articulating is that it doesn't fill this gap particularly well. There is still a huge gap.[/quote] Other institutions need to step up. [/quote]
