Good Technical Staff? You're joking, right? Give me a break! If our families are satisfied and feel like our kids are receiving quality training, why do so many continue to leave the club? If you need this verified by someone in the know, I would invite you to ask Hank. He is the only experience coach left in our club. When his team graduates, unfortunately he will likely bail too! Regarding Lima, I venture to say he has forgotten the disfunction of Vienna. The last time I saw him, he was looking pretty happy as his team won the state cup. Sounds to me like the author of the post claiming that rediculousness may be the bitter one. Hmmmm?
+1000
Posted JUST after someone posted about Arlington's wonderful DA tryout in the other thread. Hmmmm ... So you apparently like your own posts, coach? Or are two of you involved?
I am at a loss.?? I am not exactly sure what post you are referring to. I simply agree with the comment the previous person shared. My apologies if that offended you. However, my personal opinion is that, as a club, we are not heading in a positive direction. The quality of overall management and trainers has continued to decline over the last couple years significantly. The current Directors are nice guys but it has become abundantly clear that they do not have the knowledge or experience to run a club like VYS. Quite frankly, myself and other families that we know have waited this out in hopes that it would turn around. It has only proven to get worse as time has gone on. More money for less. I am not a huge Lima supporter but anyone that has been around this club long enough knows that he had a pretty good handle on what our kids and club wanted. Was it perfect? NO. But our kids enjoyed it and we felt like they were receiving training from some pretty talented coaches/trainers. Change is always good and with the right skills and knowledge it could still be great. There just needs to be involvement/management from individuals more knowledgeable in the game and willing to admit when the route that we are taking isn’t working.
