Britain was a referendum, meaning a yes or no. Simple. No personality of the candidate matters. In a direct election presidency, personality, knowledge and intelligence matters. Issues matter too. So talk to your friends and family, ask their opinions. America is 5 times bigger than Britain. So USA is much more diverse and that makes a difference too. Put all this together, its a very different country and the decisions will be different too. [/quote]
