ATS is untouchable.
Untouchable how?
All those parents would freak out if their snowflakes were bused to S Arl.
I live in South Arlington. My kids go to ATS. ATS has higher FARM rates than some other N. Arl schools. The fact that ATS is the only county wide choice school means it is increasingly becoming the only option for South Arlington families. Claremont and others are closing their enrollment due to overcrowding. It wouldn't matter to a lot of parents where ATS is located, there is a good mix of north and south kids who go there now. I think the bigger problem is that it's the only county wide choice school. Arlington needs more seats in choice schools that are open for South Arlington to lottery in to.
