[/quote] Grades are continual. They are a weekly, if not daily occurrence for a student. They have several grading periods in the year for summation. The student sees the graded paper or test within a day or two of the assessment. The grade also reflects the assessment of a person who observes the student every day. It is much more important to the parent and to colleges.
