This would be akin to college sports like football or basketball not starting over after a season ends. Doesn’t make much sense. Each league year should be an entirely new slate. Why would data from this season influence next seasons data when most teams are completely different. Close to 50% turnover on average with the switch to SY[/quote]

Clearly you’ve never gotten an email touting your team’s ranking to try and placate parents after being dumped out of another tournament and looking like dog$hit…. They ARE important, or so were supposed to believe. [/quote]
