I truly am rooting for him to succeed because I am rooting for NYC to succeed. But when he has to deal with Trump or the head of the police union or any of the many other NYC power brokers he has never engaged with, they are going to eat him for lunch and wipe the phony smile off his face very quickly. Mamdani is who he is. I’ve never seen him pretend to be anything but that.

And only white people can go to fancy private schools? Curious why it’s okay for others to attend private schools, but somehow it’s remarkable and even negative when Mamdani does. Tisch obviously is Uber wealthy but it’s rarely mentioned, except as a net positive.

Talk about jumping to conculsions? No one said only white people can go to fancy private schools. But don't act like you're a man of the people from the hood when you went to private schools (and weren't there through prep for prep or something like that). I find that Mamdani does this a bit but is not too awful about it. So I am not totally bad mouthing him. Just commenting. Unlike you who seem to be drawing conclusions and flying off the handle.

And Tisch's wealth is constantly mentioned. I have never read an article that did not mention it.
