Wrong. The senate did not restore everything in the negotiated deal. The specific funds in the 1500 mega deal were stripped out (example - nearly four percent pay raise for Congress) but congress retains the right to spend up to that level, piece meal. Yes, way to go Elon. Shine a light on the spending. If congress wants a pay raise, do a standalone bill so the American people can see it - don’t try to sneak it in in a CR.[/quote]

It’s a sign of things to come. Elon will get his priorities through Congress because he will be politically relevant far longer than Trump. It was clear nobody was really paying attention to Trump throughout this. [/quote]
