She payed her grandmothers mortgage in DC. A homestead exemption was in place and I guess she didn’t remove it after her grandmother died. Who knows if she was even aware. She also left her homestead exemption in place for her first PG County home when she moved to a new home, but this meant she lost money since she didn’t transfer it to the more expensive place. This seems like a technicality that is definitely nbd.[/quote]
