I was concerned with the tone of his email - I know tone can be tough to read in emails, but he seems aggressive about removing the distancing (perhaps in an effort to convince more kids to switch to virtual?). Ultimately it should be up to the parents to decide whether we are OK or not OK w/sending our kids to school w/out distancing. Hopefully he sticks with this message. [/quote]

I love that Duran provides weekly updates to staff and parents. I would like to be back 4 days a week but am happy with him overall. I think he is thoughtful. I think letting more kids select hybrid was the right call. It was mentioned during the last meeting that while FCPS was allowing some people to go in 4 days a week they weren’t allowing virtual kids to opt in. [/quote]
