There you go again, speaking for "nobody."  You do it well, but probably should given a lifetime of experience.  See if you can follow this:

1.  Nobody really cares about youth soccer clubs and players except youth soccer parents and coaches.  That is true for DA, ECNL, and WTF league X.

2.  Maybe a handful of professionals care about youth soccer systems and development.

3.  They might care about the system, but probably not about teams except perhaps a handful of players.

4.  To the extent anybody cares about DA players , it's because a few might become pros.  Therefore the system and development philosophies of clubs may be of interest. This is a sliver of a sliver of people outside youth soccer.

5.  Kids at DAs are not hatched and do not land in flying saucers.  Clubs develop them, including some of the clubs discussed in these threads.  Some of these clubs might be of interest to DAs because they develop the players that feed DAs.  Thus, unless you are an absolute idiot, you would know that what area clubs are doing in the U9-12 may be of interest.  Not game to game or team to team but on a club to club basis.

6.  Hardly anybody outside youth soccer would read these threads, and certainly not more than once.  Conversely, most people on these threads are interested in youth soccer in this area, almost all clubs are likely represented, and most do not have kids at DAs.

7.  Thus, it seems like it is reasonable to discuss something in which some people on these threads might have interest.

8.  I can understand how you were distracted, given the misleading title of the thread or the scant number of posts about this topic.  I am sure you were led to believe that it was either about McLean, Loudoun or PWSI, or boys soccer.

9.  You can now back to your job curing cancer or fighting the war on terror.  We are all very sorry to have wasted your time.  We'll be sure to label threads "SYC" next time instead of these incredibly misleading labels that come from somewhere else.[/quote]
