That's some selective editing of that interview.  Prior to those quotes, he said that Real Colorado told ECNL they'd be "all in" and move back to ECNL, but only if both their teams could be in the same conference.  He said ECNL was discussing this and would get back to them.  If ECNL would not allow this, he was asked what they would do, which is the part you quoted above.

ECNL allowed PDA and FC Stars to have two teams in the same conference.  It's hard to imagine them not giving the same deal to Real CO.  If so, then that'd be yet another big DA club switching back to ECNL.

It'd have no immediate impact on the ECNL or DA teams in the area, other than increasing the likelihood that other top DA teams eventually switch back to ECNL as DA continues its downward spiral.  Cough, cough, FCV, cough, cough.  [/quote]
