I think it's important to consider what these women's lives would have been like without babies or MTV.  Do we really think Jenelle was headed for college anyway?  All the lottery winnings in the world couldn't send her to UNC for a business degree.  Maybe she would have done her tech school thing, but that's a big maybe.  Same with Leah--look at her family and peers.  Being a young mother is not looked down on, and she could very well have lived a "complete" life, staying at home with kids and maybe a husband.  Kail had zero role models, so who knows.  Chelsea was probably the one with the best shot, but I think she's also used her money and fame wisely.  She seems like she will be very fulfilled, and set a good example for her kids, as a loving SAHM and wife. [/quote]

Well, if I were two feet taller, I'd have a better shot at being a pro basketball player, but that doesn't mean I actually could do it.  For a lot of the girls (from 16&P too), all the money in the world wouldn't change their lot in life, without some other necessary components.[/quote]
