If it was an international bowl, it would be okay to do show in any language but considering its a national competition happening in USA, it makes sense to do it in a language more people can understand. Most Latinos understand English as well. Bad Bunny can sing well in English.
But Puerto Rico is a territory of the United States, and Spanish is mostly spoken there. And BB is Puerto Rican. It makes complete sense why he would perform his music in Spanish. This whole Spanish thing is a nothing burger.
He can sing a song mixed with both languages if he is singing on a national stage or one in Spanish and other in English. Be more inclusive. That's his message anyways.
He sings and records his songs in Spanish. Why would a popular artist asked to play in the Super Bowl rewrite his work? He is singing the songs he is known and loved for. He didn't sing in Spanish to make a political point- these are his songs.
That's a valid point but then he wasn't the ideal choice for a show. Anyways, I'm glad they didn't reuse Beyonce, Aliya or Lopez in their leotards.
Who? Deceased Aaliyah from the 90s?
Rihana?
