How old are you? Guessing that you had no relatives who fought and died in WWII. You may have no historical understanding of the world order, but Europeans do, even if their relatives who fought in that war are no longer with us. [/quote]

Not sure what your point is in invoking WW2. The U.S. military stepped in an saved the UK/France/etc's bacon in WW1 and again in WW2. Do you actually think the EU is going to use military force against the U.S. when we secure Greenland as part of of America? If anything, they should be happy to give it to the United States to secure as a key strategic location in the accelerating geopolitical Arctic game.

Look at the ICBM path of potential missiles from Russia or China to the United States and you'll see why we need to control Greenland as a vital part of American security in the 21st Century.[/quote]

Yes they will fight. Especially when the US military rolls out of the US military base in Greenland killing UK, French, Denmark, etc soldiers and civilians. If you see the US use a military base in an allied country to invade and take over that country what do you think Nato will do? You think the European couldn’t take back European US bases by force? The 100,000 US troops would not stand a chance and the US will lose all the pre positioned equipment in Europe and bases around the world.

If you take Greenland you now have Canada as an enemy state. How are you going to track ICBM without Canada? How are you going to track the Russian nuclear submarines’ missiles? The US does not even have an icebreaker fleet needed to deploy in arctic.

The Soviet Union won the war against Germany in ww2. The US invade Italy in September 1943. By that time the Soviets had beaten the Germans in Stalingrad by February of 1943 and destroyed the Germans at Kursk in July of 1943. By August the German military had about 3.8 million troops on the eastern front. The Soviets had 12 million plus and growing with superior equipment and production.[/quote]
