We remember. VDA would have finished below NVA last year were it not for the guest players. Isn't this universally accepted already? RP did a very good job with that NVA team. ARL still king of the hill.
vda had some consistent scoring up top. Wasn’t enough for post season this past season. But the prior season was enough. Would have sniffed the post season if it wasn’t for NVA. RP did do a good job w his talent. And had some talent killing it on the left wing all season. And stellar defenders. Team was maybe a season away from being s problem. With that glaze said confident RP will get the new group in gear and surprise the GA. Heck maybe even the local ecnl clubs at jeff cup etc. Regardless if the rumint is right a lot of players will probably return. Now can we keep this an NvA chat. Looking forward to NVA vs Rev. let’s talk about that. REV cup is around the corner…. Whos signed up?!
What rumors have you heard that any of the girls will return. Do tell….
They don’t have to return. Life is decisions and everyone makes decisions based on what they think is best for them. Sometimes these decisions are wrong and sometimes they are right and the parents assume the responsibility of their own decisions. However IMHO, youth soccer is about development and until your DD or DS are juniors, it is too early to talk about wining titles, talent, ECNL vs GA, clubs and all that nonsense. Just pick a club and coach that will help your kid develop and play enough ( very important) in a fun and challenging environment. The rest is all noise. If you don’t play in an ECNL team then you won’t develop and comes junior year, you will be behind other players who had enough playing time. So make your decisions wisely and don’t get lost in the alphabet soup.
