I think this is Tucker's deepest fear - becoming irrelevant.  A nobody like he was before.  To be laughed at.  Mocked by people he considers inferior to him, such as Trump.

I wonder what he will do if his ratings ever drop?  At that point he could turn to politics and run for office.

But what happens to him if he continues to report false news?  Without the deep-pockets of Fox as his umbrella, could he survive on his own?

His show is only number 1 if you put a lot of qualifiers on it. Like cable “news” talk show. [/quote]
