Perhaps gather like minded neighbors, and come to an agreement about how much "warning" you want and what "support".

Two key questions are 1) at what neighborhood address should the busses unload the migrants? 2) how many a day are you willing to accommodate? I'm sure you'll figure things out....

My community has already stated that it would help. Back when Trump threatened to pull this stunt (AKA unannounced bus drop offs in order to - in HIS mind - penalize people who disagree with him.).
