When house hunting in 2017 folks pay extra to live in Winston Churchill or Walt Whitman. Walter Johnson and Wooten are the schools that homes go for less for value shoppers. Doubt it will make much difference. This is like a Toyota for a Honda switch.
WJ won't be the same WJ we know right now. It will make a huge difference.
How so?
If you think there is no difference between Einstein HS and WJ right now then any boundary change won't make WJ different. If you think there is difference between Einstein and WJ right now then Boundary change will make a big difference to WJ.
Have good looked at a map? It's WJ losing neighborhoods to the new Woodward HS. And WJ gaining NEW $ development residents (like the the radio tower acres off of Fernwood Road).
These "sky is falling / Kensington is going to turn into Langley Park in 10 years" posters are operating off of ignorance, a tremendous fear and anxiety about brown people and a lot of other stuff...being well informed about economic development in the County and where it is tracked to go (hint: A LOT of it is headed for the WJ zone up and down Rockville Pike between I-495 and Twinbrook Metro) is not something that I expect these posters to know or care about. They are prepping in their bunkers for this fantastical future where WJ-zoned kids will be forced into Einstein to be inducted into MS-13 by gunpoint or something  .
Boundary will be decided in few years. MCPS is going to use numbers exist as of right now and not what's going to happen after 10-20 or 30 years. There is very little chance of WJ kids to attend Einstein. DCC schools are over crowded. More liekly scenrio is Woodward and WJ will take couple of ES from DCC.
