+1000 Damascus needs Dr. Smith to take real action to fix what is broken in the school and in central office.  The principal, coaches, and Jeff Sullivan bear the blame for the culture in the school athletic program and a lack of supervision of students that allowed the gang rape to happen.  Jeff Sullivan is responsible for granting a student who was being expelled from another high school the privilege to play football at Damascus.  Doesn't make sense.  The use of COSAs and athletic waivers should be reviewed.

Parents should keep attending and giving comments at the Board of Education meetings till Dr. Smith fires the people who's negligence allowed the gang rape to occur.[/quote]
