I can also confirm that they had not met in person until just recently. We have mutual friends and I have always thought it was so weird because I would never want my kids spending that kind of time with someone I didn’t know personally. I always thought Jen should have sucked it up as a mom and just introduced herself. Asked tina to coffee, whatever. I’m sure Tina was just as nervous to meet her. Yes Tina has the looks and the man and is well known for being absolutely sweet to everyone but it’s also still pretty daunting that her husband’s ex raised their kids and is a public figure of sorts with published books and an online army of people who probably wanted to hate Tina. Don’t know if dress-shopping day was the first ever meeting, but I think it’s likely.
I mean...if the kids were minors I would agree, but 4/5 are adults and Jen doesn't seem to care what Remy does anyway as long as she isn't bothering her or leaving her shoes around so I don't think I'd feel the need to meet the new wife at this point in the parenting game. I think it's weird the bride invited the in-laws dress shopping anyway. What a circus. Seems like less is more when it comes to dress shopping and I'd assume she'd rather just have her MOH and mom and maybe a friend, and bring an in-law to a fitting appointment or something...but weddings are different today and I'm OLD:)
