Well, to answer my own question, Usha is out and about, even three months pregnant. She had lunch with Queen Rania of Jordan at Cafe Milano this week: Normally I'd laugh at Usha for those shoes with that dress but she gets a pass since she's pregnant.
Not standing next to that hot queen she doesn't. Also black dress, black shoes always unless same shade as your skin. She looks happy and is having a very good hair day.
She is having a good hair day. Agree black dress and nude-toned heels are usually the move but in winter I do agree this dress + black tights and boots would've been the move.
Whose nude/skin tone? Brown shoes?
Black shoe is always safe but I love a black dress with a burgundy shoe or deep purple swede in this weather. Not really nude or brown. There are so many other options with black + winter.
I hear you but that dress just begs for a boot especially in this weather. A deep purple suede boot would be sort of awesome but way too fashion edgy for Usha. A decent black boot would have been perfect and she would have looked totally fine. Doesn’t basically everyone have a pair of black boots to wear with dresses and skirts? She always seems to have the look of someone who wasn’t told what she was doing until late the night before — so she goes to get dressed in th morning and then realizes her boots don’t fit or the zipper broke or whatever so she just grabs a different pair of shoes out of the closet because she doesn’t have time for a better solution. I get the overall sense that her staff is not good or she doesn’t work with them and as a result always looks a little thrown together. If she knew a few days in advance she had an event with the Queen, she’d pick a nice dress and make sure she had accessories that would work with it.
My guess is she and JD think they're too good to have to listen to staff. If they actually cared what the staff had to say and it was just a case of the staff being bad at their jobs, they would've been fired by now. They're both kind of sloppy with their fashion choices. Look at JD wearing a stained tuxedo shirt to a black tie dinner. Also in looking for a pic of that I found this tweet and lmao: [twitter]https://x.com/ASFleischman/status/1992015118809587975[/twitter]
I can see her thinking she doesn’t need to listen to staff about fashion stuff but does she not get her calendar like a week in advance? As a lawyer you’d think she’d be used to reviewing her calendar for upcoming weeks and making sure she had clothes clean and ready to wear. I do that—review my calendar and think “okay, I’ll need one suit and two business wear jackets for the trip this week and printing to wear to dinner with clients” so I’ll make sure stuff is back from dry cleaner and I have shoes for each outfit and whatever. I’m no fashionista but this is just basic business sense. She often looks like she throws stuff on without advance planning. She gets away with a lot of it because she has a fabulous figure so most of it just works. JD, like me, has put on lots of weight recently so he in particular needs to plan ahead to make sure he has something that will actually fit.
OT but it's so funny to me that people think lawyers are the only professionals. Or were you citing the fact that she was a lawyer to communicate that she was a professional?
