I read that the CEO was looking into making surgical patients pay for anesthesia for any time longer than he / United thought a surgery should take. So, if there was a complication, the patient would have to pay for the anesthesia during the emergency extended time. Wtf?

Lots of misinformation there. It was BCBS, and it was going to limit how how anesthesiologists could make, not how much people would pay. So maybe an anesthesiologist would only make $550k a year instead of $600k.[/quote]
