He or his cronies exert huge pressure to get grumblers to shut up. GOP politicians know this tactic well, since it's been used on them multiple times. If you don't do what he wants, you get blackballed. Guests won't want to come on your show, Fox will think about firing you, he'll set his die-hard fans on you, any funds you may get from MAGA-aligned groups will evaporate, etc...
