In new Economist/YouGov weekly track Trump's job approval is 42%-52%, down 16 pts from week 1. And..... 18-29 33%-54% (-21) Hisp 25%-71% (-46) Indies 32%-56% (-24)
who knew snatching latino's off the street and placing them in gulags would be unpopular!
LOL at all those Hispanic voters who thought they would somehow be special.
The Cubans in South Florida are 100% behind Trump. Remember these are the same people who supported Batista. So abducting people off the street and making them disappear is something they are very familiar with.
They aren't 100% behind Trump. Florida is a red state. When the majority of people in your local network are Republicans, you are 10 times more likely to be a Republican. If you live in California, you are very likely to be a Dem. When 99% of of what you hear and see are talking points of one of our two major political parties, it's difficult not to buy into what you are hearing. Cubans in Florida don't support Trump because of any specific Trump action; the primary reason they support him is because they live in Florida and know no better.
The population of Florida is like 55:45 Red:Blue. But due to our "winner takes all" political system, this means the GOP dominates Florida politics.
