DP but James Kolar listed sources in his book, foreign faction. It is rare but not at all of unheard of for boys around burkes age to have sexually assaulted and murdered. Furthermore, treatment for young kids with sexually aggressive behavior is usually very successful and can be completed in a few months or less (according to the sources in the book.)
