Does someone actually have the real acceptance rate for NEU this year? I can't get a straight answer
Last year, there were 96k applications. With EDI and EDII comprising 34% of the class, overall NEU had an acceptance rate of 5.6%. This was for approximately 2600 Boston enrolled freshmen. The RD yield was 50%. This year, there were 98k applicationsl EDI and EDII applications ballooned to 6,400. Some ED applications were for NU.in as that is getting more and more difficult to gain admission as it has gained in popularity among a certain segment. Except for EA and EDII rates, NEU has not published their data. EA was 5%, EDII was 20%. EDI has not been published. But the best data extrapolation suggests that EDI and EII will comprise closer to 38% of the class. If that is the case, the overall admission rate for this year will be around 6-7%.
