Well, she has no real education.  Fundies like Anna are home-schooled by mothers with no college education themselves.  The focus of her education would have been the bible and learning her house wifely duties.  And she was taught to defer to her father as a girl, and her husband after marriage: the whole "umbrella of protection" nonsense.  So, no education and kept sheltered at home, surrounded by fundies.  The poor girl never had a chance.[/quote]
