You don't get it because you are not morally bankrupt and/or mentally ill. Also, perhaps your bad behavior had consequences along the way, so you do not think that you can buy anyone or anything you feel like acquiring .[/quote]
Normal people also understand that other people are actually other people and are worthy of a certain level of respect. Trump and people like him truly do not acknowledge that other people exist outside them and have different wants and feelings, and they don’t care. People exist for them and for what they can do for them.

And the thing about experiencing consequences is huge. Cons talk a big game about punishments and all that, but when it comes to powerful men, they don’t think they deserve to be held responsible for their actions. Look at the way the cons talked about Bretty Kavanaugh - they couldn’t even be bothered investigate the credible accusation of attempted rape against him, and all their talk was about how the Democrats were playing dirty tricks and of smearing Christine Blasey Ford. Cons truly seem to believe that some men and certain behaviors they have - particularly those related to how they treat women - do not need to be investigated or punished.
