You may not call it racism, but that's what it amounts to.[/quote] Look at the "reading groups" thread and tell me that the kid (from a W feeder) whose reading group met once last year is getting a better education than my kid in a diverse east-county public school whose group meets twice a week and is, as a group, working two grades above level. You might want to think that a higher SES is some sort of panacea, but it's not. There are good schools and less-good schools no matter where you go. [/quote]
