eh...I wouldn't hang my doubts on that PP.  Just about every story you hear where a mysterious death occurs they almost always add that information in there. Many of us have some type of prescription medication with us when traveling - could be something as benign as antibiotics, or even medication related to protecting their health due to the places they were traveling to.  At the time of their death they had already been in Africa a whole month.

Plus if you read about their love for foreign travel, and one of the sisters being a competitive skater etc., strong odds are that they were not using narcotics.

I also think that someone could have done something to their drinks - as already suggested, maybe they substituted cheap homemade hooch with expensive top shelf liquor.  The news stories and social media images seem to indicate that these ladies really liked to drink.  A LOT.  That doesn't really jive with the image savvy of world travelers and competitive athlete. I suppose if they drank heavily they also could have dabbled in drugs too.  Especially being on vacation for a full month.
